POTS DISEASE

McLean, VA POTS Disease Treatment

Dear Friend,

Over the past 1 years I've had the privilege of helping patients with POTS Disease.

We take a functional approach. We have a doctor developed & doctor supervised protocol. The foundation lies in the objective TESTING!

We don't guess...we TEST!

We will DIG to find the "root cause" and work to provide a NATURAL & LASTING solution.

POTS affects upwards of 6 million people in the U.S., yet is often overlooked because it can manifest in a variety of different ways.

The key is to do some simple testing to determine if you do indeed have POTS disease. From there we'll customize a treatment plan that is customized to you.

This is the beautiful thing about functional medicine. We'll dig, find, and work to solve the problem once and for all...WITHOUT dangerous drugs.

POTS DISEASE

POTS impacts an estimated 3,000,000 to 6,000,000 Americans! ~80-85% female, most commonly women of childbearing age.

  • Dizziness, lightheadedness, or fainting (especially when going from horizontal positions to standing)

  • Extreme fatigue

  • Heart palpitations

  • Chest pain

  • Shortness of breath

  • Brain fog

  • Exercise intolerance

  • Shakiness or excessive sweating

  • Headaches

  • Anxiety or nervousness

  • GI symptoms like nausea, heartburn, constipation, and abdominal pain

MOST COMMON CAUSES OF POTS DISEASE

(Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome)

  • Mycotoxin Exposure/Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome (CIRS).

  • Lyme Disease & Other Infections.

  • Nutrient deficiencies, specifically Vitamin B12. (This is why we TEST for nutrient deficiencies)

  • Other bacterial infections, including: Mycoplasma pneumoniae.

  • Viral Infections such as Epstein Barr virus (mononucleosis).

  • Food Allergies/Sensitivities.

  • Celiac disease and other autoimmune diseases.

  • Medications, including: Alpha receptor blockers, Beta blockers, Calcium channel blockers, Opiates, Monoamine oxidase inhibitors, Tricyclic antidepressants, Diuretics, Nitrates, etc.

  • Some studies suggest that some genetic variants are associated with an increased risk of developing the condition.

  • Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS) is a connective tissue disorder characterized by joint hypermobility, skin texture abnormalities, and vascular and visceral dysfunctions.

OUR APPROACH IS UNIQUE & DIFFERENT

We Don't Guess - We TEST

In order to truly get well and solve the problem, you need a doctor who is like a detective. Somebody who will take the time and dig. NOT somebody who spends 5 minutes with you, gives you a "chemical" and says come back in 6 weeks. That's a failed approach.

Again, it's a big reason why millions of people are suffering with unexplained symptoms.

Thanks for stopping by!

If you're sick of the medical run around...then let's hop on a discovery call. No cost, simply a chance to ask each other questions and determine if our functional approach would make sense for you.
